★ Paprika's starter, with the most creative name ever. Actually, they're very well-matched, since his general inclination to be slow and steady about, well, everything tempers Paprika's spontaneity quite nicely. Old Man is pretty chill and is either totally oblivious to most everything around him or a brilliant case of obfuscating stupidity. It's probably the latter. He tends to act as the team mediator, gingerly prodding Paprika in the right direction and making sure everything is running smoothly between the other Pokemon. For the record, he actually quite likes it when Paprika sits on his hump, and outright encourages her to ride on his back now that he's evolved.  Rather proud of his Trainer at the moment for making a huge leap in skill.  

 
Robin | Swellow ♀ | Brave (good perseverence) | Guts | Lv. 30
- Endeavour            - Double Team 
- Wing Attack          - Quick Attack

★ The first Pokemon Paprika caught, something that probably would not have happened had Robin not been sound asleep at the time. Much more proactive and spunky than Old Man, she's taken to rather meticulous grooming of Paprika's hair, much to said Trainer's chagrin. Robin is fiercely loyal in spite of Paprika's total incompetence in regards to all things Pokemon, and is always willing to take on a bigger or stronger Pokemon if she feels it's necessary.  After Paprika was kidnapped, Robin's stuck to her like a burr, and will scold if she wanders off.  Evolved under the care of AU!Paprika during the April AU event.




Greg | Croagunk ♂ | Naughty (mischievous) | Anticipation | Lv. 30

- Faint Attack    - Drain Punch
- Mud Bomb     - Poison Sting 

★ Greg is a mischievous little bugger, none too fond of anyone but himself. He's not terribly inclined to listen to his already ridiculously inexperienced Trainer, though after his hatching, he never goes so far as to actually assault her, preferring instead to pull all manner of pranks and be as stubborn as possible in battle. However, seeing as both Old Man and Robin have a type advantage over him, he doesn't quite have free reign to do as he pleases.  In the hands of a much more competent Paprika during the AU event, he's significantly happier and has matured some as a battler.  He was especially bad-tempered after Paprika's first loss to Lenora, but shaped up after the second battle and now begrudgingly regards his Trainer with some respect.




Nugget | Darumaka ♀ | Jolly (often dozes off) | Hustle | Lv. 30

- Fire Punch      - Headbutt
- Thrash             - Facade

★ Paprika's strongest Pokemon by sole virtue of having been caught at that level, Nugget still doesn't particularly care that her Trainer is by and large clueless, since as far as she's concerned, anybody who feeds her can't be all that bad.  She's very close with N's Darmanitan, and doesn't seem to envy the other her superior strength under the direction of a competent Trainer.  Nugget loves to curl up in any sort of pile, and will often take Paprika's stuff and stack it up to this end.  It's way too cute to warrant any scolding, though.  Attaining Team Mom status after acting as the powerhouse for some bait-and-switch training. 


Hattie | Snorunt ♀ | Docile (often lost in thought) | Ice Body | Lv. 30

- Ice Fang    - Protect
- Bite             - Hex

★ Hattie just sort of wandered over to Paprika  when the Entralink glitched, and seems to have gotten attached.  Proving herself to be a competent battler (at least against wild Pokemon), Hattie is almost as clingy as Robin, though moreso out of shyness than overprotectiveness.  The two of them don't seem to feel any animosity towards one another over their constant competition for Paprika's attention and/or personal space.  Aware that Greg is not her biggest fan, but doesn't care a whit.  Now that they're on more equal footing level-wise, she's starting to see him as more of a rival, though.

★ The result of the second mystery egg event, and the reason Paprika is about to spend some very uncomfortable time in N's body.  It means well, really.
